Review
This is official description
SpotMSN is a password recovery tool that is used to recover lost or forgotten passwords for your MSN messenger, Windows Live Messenger 8 and Windows Messenger accounts. SpotMSN is the best MSN password finder that instantly cracks and decrypts the MSN Messenger passwords saved on your computer. Program works when the "Remember my Password" tickbox is checked in the messenger.
The following review written by one of the Software Informer contributors applies to version 1.8
SpotMSN is a very useful utility produced by Nsasoft, which provides an efficient solution for recovering the .NET passport IDs and passwords. The program is compatible with the widely used Microsoft Windows Live messenger version 8, provided that you have previously enabled the "Remember Me" feature of MSN messenger.
The program doesn't depend on the brute force technique, but it decrypts the saved passwords which proves a major security problem to the users of the vulnerable versions of the most famous chat client. This vulnerability has been fixed by Microsoft in the newest versions of Windows Live messenger 9.x.
The program is very fast; it recovers your precious forgotten passwords immediately on one mouse click, without consuming the system's memory or CPU power. The user interface is very simple and easy to learn, as it consists of just one window.
The demonstration copy of this program doesn't display the password until you purchase the full product. Until then, it will show the accounts' IDs only. |
- Compatible with the widely used Windows Live messenger 8.
|
- Not compatible with the latest version of Windows Live messenger.
